A TOAST to Oregon Spirits

Portland is hosting the annual American Distilling Institute conference this week, topped off with a fun public tasting in support of the Oregon Distillers Guild on Friday, from 4-9pm at the Tiffany Center. Mayor Sam Adams will also be in attendance and is scheduled to speak to the crowd at 5:30.
If you’re in the Portland area this is a great opportunity to taste the creations of 30–40 distilleries. Distillers and distillery owners will be on-hand to answer questions and pour samples.
Need to know what to do with the new spirits you’ll discover? No problem. Bartenders from the Oregon Bartenders Guild will be at the event to discuss cocktail ideas and techniques.
Tickets are $40 at the door and include an Oregon Distillers Guild tasting glass. All proceeds support the Oregon Distillers Guild, a nonprofit whose purpose is to promote Oregon spirits both locally and nationally.
