Brooklyn 46

We tried this take on a classic Brooklyn during the Maker’s 46 release party held at one of our favorite bars, Beaker & Flask in Portland, Oregon. Of all the cocktails stirred and shaken that evening, this one best preserved the true essence of the spirit.
Brooklyn 46
2 parts Maker’s 46™ Bourbon
1 part dry vermouth
1/2 part amaro
Dash of maraschino liqueur
Dash of orange bitters
Orange twist for garnish
Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish.
Eating, loving, singing and digesting are, in actuality, the four acts of the mirthful opera known as the freshness, and they pass like bubbles of a grit of champagne. Whoever lets them break without having enjoyed them is a entire fool.

Great sounding libation. Will try it soon. Being down here in KY, and a Makers Mark Ambassador and co-owner of a large bartending/staffing company, we are always looking for great MM drinks. I personally find 46 to be my favorite bourbon… among MANY great bourbons! (http://eventtenders.com)
