Tales of the Cocktail Vancouver

The folks behind New Orleans’ Tales of the Cocktail are carefully packing up the martini glasses and heading north to Canada for a tasty mini-cocktail festival in Vancouver, March 13-15, 2011. Organizers said that they plan to make their Canadian trek an annual event.

“Vancouver has an authentic culture, a welcoming sense of hospitality and an incredibly passionate group of bar professionals. All this makes the city an exciting, well deserving destination for Tales of the Cocktail, the global cocktail event,” said Charlotte Voisey, Brand Ambassador for William Grant & Sons and New Orleans Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society Board Member.

Who’s Your Daddy? A Mai Tai Paternity Test – led by Jeff Berry

The Science of Cocktails: New Techniques Behind the Bar – led by Dave Arnold and Eben Klemm

The History and Importance of Ice in Cocktails – led by Charlotte Voisey and Jon Santer

The Birth, Death and Rebirth of Canadian Whisky – led by Allen Katz and Drew Mayville with Neal McLennan and David Wolowidnyk
