Tequila Ocho puts their emphasis on the terrior, and having previously tasted some of their other vintages from other estates, there are definite differences to be had and enjoyed.

Yeyo has little to no harshness or alcohol to the nose. Instead it greets with an earthy sweetness, some lime, a touch of honey, and traces of what seems like mesquite smoke.

When I bounded down the Hotel Monteleone staircase to the Kahlúa Coffee Bar on my second morning at Tales of the Cocktail I thought, “Kahlúa in my coffee sounds like a delicious way to begin to the day!” Little did I know I was about to experience what would become one of my favorite brunch cocktails.
